Terms and Conditions – The First Step Preschool

1. Admission & Enrollment
– Admission is granted based on age eligibility and seat availability.
– The management reserves the right to accept or reject any application without stating a reason.
– A completed admission form and submission of required documents are mandatory.

2. Fees & Payment
– All fees must be paid in advance as per the fee structure shared at the time of admission.
– Late fee penalties may apply for overdue payments.
– Fees once paid are non-refundable, except under special circumstances approved by management.
– Any damage to school property by the child may result in recovery of repair charges.

3. Attendance & Timings
– Children are expected to be punctual. Consistent absenteeism without prior intimation may lead to discontinuation.
– Half-day or early pickup should be communicated to the school in advance.
– The First Step is closed on public holidays and specific school-declared holidays.

4. Transportation (if opted)
– The school provides transport only on selected routes.
– It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure the child is present at the pickup and drop points on time.
– Transport fees are separate and must be paid as per schedule.

5. Health & Safety
– If a child is unwell, we request parents to refrain from sending them to school.
– In case of emergencies, the school will administer basic first aid and contact the parent immediately.
– All health concerns or allergies must be disclosed during admission.

6. Personal Belongings
– Children are advised not to bring valuables, toys, or money to school.
– The school is not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal belongings.

7. Code of Conduct
– Mutual respect between staff, students, and parents is expected at all times.
– Any form of aggressive or abusive behavior by a parent or guardian may result in termination of the child’s enrollment.
– The school reserves the right to take disciplinary action in case of misconduct.

8. Photos & Media
– Photographs and videos of children may be taken during school activities for internal and promotional use.
– If parents wish to opt out, they must provide a written request at the time of admission.

9. Policy Changes
– The First Step reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time.
– Parents will be notified of any changes via official communication channels.

10. Agreement
By enrolling your child at The First Step, you agree to abide by the above terms and conditions.
